Operating elements and procedure

1. Select a measurement mode by sliding DC/AC select switch and Real/Max select switch.
   • DC-REAL: Indicates the electrostatic potential (DC) of a charged object at the time.
   • DC-MAX: Holds and indicates the peak value of electrostatic potential of a charged object within the measuring time.
   • AC: Indicates AC potential. (REAL/MAX switch is set free.)
2. Turn Sensor of the meter toward the charged object to be measured and bring it near to the prescribed measuring distance (50mm.) At the time, indicated value on LCD display is the surface potential of the charged object.
3. When outputting data, connect a recorder etc. to the output terminal of the EV-103 using the attached lead wire (3m).
