Automated ESD Test System For Automotive Electronics
Model: ZAP-100

Test system specifically designed to apply
ESD pulses to interface cables or connector pins under test

The system consists of an ESS-2000 ESD simulator, motor driven 3-axis mechanism discharge application unit and PC for the overall control.

GENERAL

A recently development in ESD testing is an automated ESD test system for automotive electronics specifically designed to apply ESD pulses to interface cables or connector pins under test.

The standard system supports testing up to 100 pins (300 pins optional).

The Electrostatic Discharge Simulator Model: ESS-2000 in conjunction with a 3-axis motor-driven mechanism automatically applies discharges to the user-selected target pins and performs ESD testing in fully automated manner for all of the three discharge methods; air discharge, contact discharge and flashover tests.

This innovative system greatly contributes to time and labor savings in standardized ESD tests.
