Q1.

When measuring the output waveform by using the AT-810 attenuator, the peak amplitude (envelope of the waveform) is unstable.  Additionally, pulse timing (repetition rate) is sometimes random irrespective of the setting on INS trigger modes (PHASE or VARIABLE).  Is there a failure on any part of the INS?

When measuring the output waveform by using the AT-810 attenuator, the correct waveform seems to be measured against 2kV output voltage setting on the INS.  With 1kV setting, the measured waveform seems to be OK first, but after a while no output is gotten.  Is there a failure on any part of the INS?

The symptom you referred to is one of the typical ones where the internal mercury-wetted relay got deteriorated.  Replace the relay with a new one.  Please contact us for more information.
