The INS method is considered a conducted immunity test method since simulated interference sources are load current interruptions.  But, associated cables with the load including cables of the AC networks often become an unintended (accidental) transmitting antenna.  Similarly, for victim equipment, other leads than AC or DC power supply act unintentional (unwanted) receiving antenna.  Coupling adapters are used to simulate such interference events.
